pickled.gg is an independent, non-commercial fan project run by a single person. It publishes original essays, guides, and commentary about video games. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher, developer, platform holder, or rights holder mentioned or depicted on this site.
All game titles, logos, screenshots, cover art, and promotional imagery displayed on this site remain the property of their respective publishers, developers, and copyright holders. Their use here does not imply any claim of ownership.
Game titles and franchise names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
Copyrighted imagery on this site is used in connection with original written commentary, criticism, and guides — a transformative, editorial purpose distinct from the material's original promotional use. The site is non-commercial, images are used only to the extent needed to illustrate the accompanying text, and this use does not substitute for or compete with the original work in its market. This is consistent with fair use under U.S. copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 107).
Game metadata is provided by IGDB. This product uses the IGDB API but is not endorsed or certified by IGDB.
Cover art, icons, and other imagery are sourced in part from official press material and in part from SteamGridDB, a community asset library. Underlying artwork remains the property of its original copyright holders regardless of the site it was retrieved from.
Essays reflect personal opinion. Guides are compiled on a best-effort basis and may contain mistakes, become outdated after game updates, or diverge from another player's experience. Everything on this site is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, and is used at your own risk.
If you're a rights holder and believe material on this site should be removed or credited differently, open an issue on the GitHub repository describing the material and your concern. Legitimate requests will be addressed promptly, and the relevant material removed or amended without argument.
