Damdara (First Visit)
Hidden by a table in the northeast corner of town.

You can find Zalen near a ruined and abandoned building in Damdara. You will need the Magic Key to gain access.
The Knight Aberrant is an optional boss in Damdara. You can fight it the very first time you enter Damdara, but you will be woefully underleveled for the fight at this point. Instead, you should aim to fight this boss around level 35, where it's much more manageable. The Knight itself isn't particularly challenging, but it has a number of moves that can straight-up kill you if you're unlucky. Helm Splitter will lower your defense, Bounce will reflect magic attacks, and it also has an ability that will deflect melee attacks. Without knowing what the boss will use, choosing the wrong move can just kill you here - for example, if it deflects a Gyrfalcon Slash (souped-up Falcon Slash), the deflected damage will likely just result in your death. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any real pattern to when the boss uses what. Since you're essentially making bets on what the boss will/won't reflect back at you, your best bet is simply to minimize the number of turns you do damage and, by extension, the length of the fight. To do this, first get down to around half health so that your enhanced skills are available courtesy of the Soul Sigil. Then use Wild Side, then use an enhanced Muster Strength (Muster More Strength), then use a more powerful Falcon Slash (Gyrfalcon Slash). An enhanced Gyrfalcon Slash should do around 500 damage, depending on your equipment, and with Wild Side, it will hit twice in a turn, resulting in a whopping 1,000 damage per successful execution. The boss has around 3,000 HP, so you can either attempt to do this three times or use the beginning of the battle (when you're trying to get yourself in Soul Sigil activation range) to smack the boss around with standard attacks to get rid of the first thousand.

After you defeat the boss here, you'll be taken away for story content. Return here later, and the scroll is in a chest in the middle of this area.

Go down the well and inspect near the rocks in the underground cavern you find.
Cantlin
There is a two-story house on the west side of town. On the second floor, Moreheal is in a bookshelf in the left room, and Attack Attacker is in a wardrobe in the right room.
Hidden in the right grave in the town's graveyard.
Once you reach Cantlin, you will find Zalen near a bridge. You will need the Ultimate Key to gain access.

Weeping Isle
When you're outside for the second time, there are two doors: one near you to the west and one further around a winding path. Take the nearer path and follow the winding path around. The scroll is in a chest.
In the far northwest corner of the area where you enter the Weeping Isle.
As you follow the path through the dungeon, you'll briefly be outside. When you return inside, after a brief room, you'll be on L2. In the southeast corner here is a chest with the Mini-Medal.

Dragonlord's Castle

Found in the basement of the Dragonlord's Castle. On B4 there are two staircases near the center of the floor, take the set on the left going up and follow the linear path to its end. You must progress until you reach the final main story quest in the game.
Western Isle
At the northeasternmost part of the map, at the end of a pier. Area is part of Zalen's side quest.
Obtained during the Zalen questline. A Fairy will take you to this isle, where you can find the helm buried on the west side.
Field of Flowers
Head to the Field of Flowers, and a cutscene will automatically trigger, where you will talk to a Faerie.
Shrine of Rain (Zalen Quest)
Talk to the Faerie again in the Shrine of Rain, and she will take you to the Western Isle, where you will obtain Erdrick's Helm.
Rimuldar (Second Visit)
Finally, after you head back from the Western Isle, return to Rimuldar, and you will find Zalen across the bridge, earning you the trophy.

Talk to the Legendary Swordsmith at the equipment shop in Kol. You will need Orichalcum to upgrade this sword — talk to the scholar near some books in Cantlin, then head to Tantegel and talk to the prisoner in the church. Finally, head to the Craggy Cave and find the Orichalcum. Return to the swordsmith to have the weapon forged. (Post-game, for The Ultimate Test)
